Big Brothers Big Sisters of NWFL pottery workshops at the Belmont!
The Pottery Studio of the Belmont hosted a creative day with our friends from Big Brothers Big Sisters of Northwest Florida! The "bigs and littles" created one of a kinds hand built pottery pieces to be fired, glazed and auctioned off at their "Corks & Canvas" event. Great job everyone!

COMMUNITY MAPPING CHARETTE W/ STUDENTS + BELMONT ARTS CENTER EVENTS
Artist Kianga Ford will not only be providing a lecture at UWF at part of the Genius Loci series - she is also coming to the Belmont! She will be a special guest at Feb. 10th HGCB and will meet with the Belmont Youth Band as well as members of the Belmont Arts Center to begin plans for a collaborative project as a part of her "Walking Back Home" installation project. We very excited to have her! - more details coming soon!
HOT GLASS, COLD BREW 2012 - KICKS OFF FEB. 10TH!
Hot Glass Cold Brew 2012 will get kicked off on Friday, February, 2011, from 5 to 9 pm. There’ll be live glassblowing demonstrations by members of Belmont’s Glass Guild, as well as demonstrations in pottery on the wheel. Partake of some brew, alcoholic* or non-alcoholic, as well as pizza. Suggested donation is $25 for non-members and $20 for members, which gets you a hand-blown cup for your choice of brew which, along with pizza are complimentary.
